In the Medical Medium world, food isn’t about calories or macros. It’s about giving your body the specific tools it needs to detoxify, rebuild, and restore itself.
Anthony William teaches that chronic illness is caused by pathogens (like Epstein-Barr virus, shingles, and streptococcus) and toxins (heavy metals, pesticides, chemicals) that have accumulated over years. These invaders feed off certain foods and create your symptoms — fatigue, brain fog, skin issues, digestive problems, anxiety.
Healing foods do three things:
- Starve pathogens — by removing foods viruses and bacteria thrive on (eggs, dairy, gluten, caffeine)
- Support detoxification — by nourishing your liver, adrenals, and nervous system

🍋 Lemon water — 16–32oz first thing in the morning. Hydrates your liver and flushes toxins.
🥬 Celery juice — 16–32oz on an empty stomach. Anthony William calls this “one of the greatest healing tonics of all time” because its sodium cluster salts break down pathogen cell membranes, restore gut hydrochloric acid, and pull toxins from your liver.
🫐 Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie — Wild blueberries, spirulina, barley grass juice powder, cilantro, and Atlantic dulse. These five ingredients bind to heavy metals in your brain and body and escort them out. Heavy metals feed viruses, so removing them is critical.
🍎 Fruit — Throughout the day. The glucose in fruit feeds your brain and liver — the two most important organs for healing.
🥔 Healing carbohydrates — Potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash, millet, oats. These support your adrenals and stabilize blood sugar.
🍃 Leafy greens & fresh herbs — Spinach, arugula, cilantro, parsley. These feed good bacteria and provide critical mineral salts.
Pillar #2: Your Nervous System Is the Key

You can eat all the healing foods in the world, but if your nervous system is in constant stress, your body cannot heal.

Graze throughout the day — Eat every 1.5–2 hours to keep blood sugar stable and reduce adrenal stress.
Eat adrenal-supportive foods — Sprouts, asparagus, wild blueberries, bananas, garlic, broccoli, kale, raspberries, blackberries, romaine lettuce, red-skinned apples.
Remove caffeine — Even matcha. Caffeine stresses the adrenals and keeps your nervous system wired.
Practice nervous system regulation — Breathwork, gentle walks, meditation, rest when your body asks for it.
Honor your need for sleep — Your liver does its deepest detox work while you sleep.
